From then I was referred to amazing other business mentors that helped me get my cookies out to market. Now I have investors and am looking for a facility to manufacture my company Lucian’s Food at. I can’t wait to keep growing and staying on board with Port Labs, cause I definitely need all their help to stay on track and organized.”
Amanda Long came to Port Labs with an idea for Lucien’s Food and a driving passion to develop allergen-safe nutritious snacks for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder and food allergies to be able to safely eat and enjoy. Amanda’s entrepreneurial journey initially led her to Port Labs in search of pitch coaching for a startup pitch competition. From there we worked with Amanda to develop her business model, first products and packaging, and launch plan.
Lucien’s Foods are now being carried in a handful of retail outlets and Amanda is on track to secure her first investment.
